Hi,
When you go above two or three watts, all amp choices become compromised in the single ended arena.
The best overall finals tube is likely to be the 2A3, so plan to have sufficiently efficient-enough speakers to use a 2A3.
There is a 2A3 amplifier that combines the positive features of Shindo, Wavac, and Kondo, yet easily surpasses them all, and .... it is made right in the USA. Livingston, Montana.
Just listen at length to the LATEST Serious Stereo 2A3 DC amps, IMHO, it doesn't get any better on this planet, in SE-land. $15,750 a pair shipped. Superb engineering and best possible musical performance is its hallmark.
