He made some 50 LPs and wasn't perfect...

That one to me is... fair to middlin'. Some of the tunes are good, but it's one of those loose
jam like things that sounds like it. I don't know if he made any bad albums - certainly some
are better than others and "Indianola Mississippi Seeds" from the year before "London" is
FANTASTIC but things tapered off a bit in many of the LPs following.

Things got kind of weird when "Lucille Talks Back" clocked in at about 30 minutes.
Thirty decent minutes, but...

I think his main focus was performing live and most of his LP recordings were almost
an afterthought. He came from the singles age and that sensibility didn't necessarily
transition real well into putting out a solid 40 minute LP of great tunes.

Doesn't mean BB and Lucille weren't doing their thing well, just means the results as a cohesive
album didn't always rock my soul. But "One Kind Favor" his last LP?, man THAT is a godsend.
