2005...has it been that long ago? Some of those old posts may have been mine, because I switched to the older crossover back then. Still really happy with it. Can't comment on just replacing stock later crossovers with higher quality parts, but at the time I went with the earlier crossover I felt it was a dramatic improvement. Seemed more obvious than what I'd attribute to merely using better caps and larger gauge inductors.

I don't think about this stuff much lately. Too busy just listening. (-:
