Rip them out if you want to get an active crossover and connect 2 amps directly. I put binding posts directly on the drivers, but that is a major modification. Most would just unhook the crossovers and use the existing tabs and some good wire.
Otherwise, if you want to passively bi-amp, you could manke new crossovers and modify them to bi-amp.
