Latest Graphene News

Regulars here will know I'm VERY BIG on Graphene.
This stuff will revolutionize audio transducers if not in a couple years, than certainly in a decade or so.
Here is some food for thought.
After reading the main article, several links at the bottom of the page provide further material to mull over.
If this stuff can be fabricated in 2' wide sheets, AND doped with a conductor, making a Magnepan style transducer a fraction of the weight of current models will be EASY. That buys sensitivity and better frequency response. It should be possible to make a graphene RIBBON which will outlast a dozen conventional ribbons, have better HF response, higher sensitivity and render all other such designs obsolete. A folded style, like the HEIL AMT would be EASY and have a similar edge over the same driver today.
