Proven antidote

First of all congratulations! While the days of babies in the domicile are long past I must tell you that my listening habits changed very little when they came along. The proven antidote for never-ending baby awaking is non other than classical music. I recall listening to Tchaikovsky at full tilt and even I was amazed that the kids (and wife) would sleep right through. BUT the instant I put on jazz or R&B the household would *instantly* awaken as if aroused by the rhythmic call of the wild.
So, add more classical music to your listening diet. It will take a little "conditioning" for your daughter but classical music can be a powerful elixir to induce sleep. (Ha! just go to the symphony and you'll see....and hear... compelling testimony).
