Carver 4000t

Posted by bgpowell on July 19, 2013 at 12:13:19:

I traded a Hafler DH-101 for a new 4000t back in the day. I had it for about a two days. My friend and I both hated it. Fortunately I was able return it and get the Hafler back. The dealer was very good about it. I got a Nakamichi CA-5 instead about a month later and kept it(well still have it in the closet. Awesome phono section for the price) for over 15 years. I would look at a different budget pre. The Carver amp on the other hand has a pretty good reputation.
