for the Salon
Simply one of the best speakers in existence regardless of price. This is one of the greatest design achievements in audio.Music I heard through this was convincingly unadultered, made me make-believe that I was listening to a live recording session. All attributes of instruments were completely there... the non-booming but full-bodied bass, the complex but uncolored texture of vocals, full brightness of brass, sheen of metal percussion, harmonic edge in high strings, all with full openness... no veils of any sort.
Audition was with "juicy" amps (Levinson monoblocs), and top-caliber electronics. May not show potential with lesser gear, as expected of speakers of this quality. So requires $$$ really.
