I used a pair of the ver. 1 Studio 60's for about one year and was mostly very satisfied with their performance. They took considerably longer to break-in than I had thought they would. I used them in a fairly small room and the Studio 60's had no problem filling the room completely with both CD and LP source material. I did not find the upper end as harsh as some reviews in a competing website have contended. The speaker were placed about 4' from the front wall, 4' from the side walls and my primary listening location was ~7' from the speakers. I used them with the grille clothe in place and the speakers toed-in, but about 5-10 degrees from being pointed directly at my listening position. Overall, I found the speakers to be an excellent value and was more than pleased with them. I have only recently moved up to speakers costing more than twice what I paid for the Studio 60's and am not sure that I have the same value (but my new ones Joseph Audio RM22si - are not fully broken-in as of yet). See weaknes
