I purchased these marvels about 5 months ago... Having prior used a pair of Polk 7's... Mated to the Atoms is a PDR-10 sub. Now, I'm sure it would be easy to spend more $$ and get better sound. Yet, having heard many a system in studios, homes and various emporia (sp?), I am most impressed by the Atoms. Clear, precise imaging -- depth I hadn't heard quite as easily... The treble tingles and voices are eerily present. Johnny Cash on American Recording might as well be in the room. I think it is great that equipment is available for true high end purists. Still, it is particularly noteworthy when quality sound is put within reach of most anyone who cares to look. My hat is off to Paradigm.
