I Own both thw b&w 802's and the daedalus da-1's and comparing

the overall sound stage imaging and clarity of vocals I find the da-1's

clearly outperform the 802's.

the da-1's don't require a lot of speaker positioning to make them

sing either.

I am presently using LS16 MK2 AS MY PREAMP Along with MA-1 otl amps

and to increase the impedence of the speakers I use Autoformers from

Paul Speltz along with pure copper cable between the amps and the

speakers. After everything warms up the sound is hot and palpable.
