for the 602 Series 3

B&W has improved the t600 series with improved components such as air-core crossovers, better cabinets, and better drivers. I was not a fan of teh 600 series 2. However, when I was looking for new speakers, I came across in teh same price range as the 602 series 3. Paradigm Studio 20's, Klipsch RF3, and Phase Tech 7.2, I also looked at B&W 303 and Paradigm Mini Monitor. I dont know what Paradigm did to their new Monitor series but Whoa, not very impressive with that flat lifeless sound. The Klipsch sound a bit coloured to me and it seemed something was missing. The 303 was a great speaker, but too small and stuggled with bass. Phase Tech was a godo speaker, but the sound didnt cater to my liking. Studio 20's, sound good but not nearly the detail or the openess of the 602. SO I choose the 602. I listen anything from Jazz to DMB, Led, Floyd, and Blues. And these speakers handle everything. Bass is good and solid, midrange is open and detailed and the highs are very airy. Great job on that tweeter. Solid build and sexy looks with the grille off are included in this great package. Good listen, you'll see...

Product Weakness: Burn in time a must 50 hours +
Product Strengths: Great overall sound.
