Probably the most surprising upgrade I have done in the last 10 years was replacing all cables to hms. I have had top lines of nordost,transparent,synergistic, audio tekne and piega. When a friend suggested I try a HMS interconnect from the DAC to preamp I gave the HMS dealer a call. Since he gives a 30 day money back guarantee there was nothing to lose. I have changed cables before and didn't expect a major change in sound with this cable. The first time I placed it in the system after listening to Kebmo "the door" for awhile the immediate change in sound was jaw dropping. I hate using descriptions like that but after 10 years of plugging in different electronics it was pretty dramatic.The detail,clarity and tranparency was the greatest I've heard from any system. Since then I have replaced all interconnects. The digital cable is also a major upgrade. The last 2 weeks I have been breaking in the speaker cables and they have a great musicality to them. The biggest thing they do is take the ringing out of the music.I have put several other cables back in and had a tough time listening without getting fatigued. I suggest giving them a free trial and see if your not surprised at their quality. The dealer is easy and friendly to deal with so there are no concerns there.
