for the m-4

Mine cost $225 on ebay and arrived in mint condition. Built like a tank. Discrete output devices. Only electrolytic caps are two power supply caps; all others are styrene or mylar. Power transformer the size of a small loaf of bread. Runs very slightly warm. Puts out 120 watts per channel at eight ohms and 170 at four ohms. Drives my Maggie four ohm MG-1.5/QR speakers just fine. Like most other well designed solid state amps, it really has no sound of its own; just amplification. Really heavy. Highly recommended.

Product Weakness: Heavy. Speaker connectors flimsy.
Product Strengths: Value, built for the long term, drives low impedance loads well.
