for the Goldmund 18.4

I have been using the Goldmund 28 Millenium and wondered if an upgrade to a 29M will be a cost effective solution.
Sometime ago, I have a opportunity to audition the 29.4 against the Telos 600. We were very impressed by how much more silent / dark the Telos is as compared to the 29.4 The Telos is also more dynamic and refined.
It is with ths reason that I decided (without audition) to purchase the 18.4
Upon her arrival, we did a AB againt my 28M and the 18.4 was without doubt (right out of the box) quieter. The transients and speed began to show itself as the amp warmed up. By the 8th song, it was rocking the Genesis.
The 18.4 has all of the qualities of the 28M and more of everything else that i ever wanted. Most impressive was the "Sweet" highs "Seperation" and the distinction of mid and low bass. It never sounded fat but smooth, tight and fast. Vocals never get more real that I have ever experienced.
I was told that some owners of 29M have also given up for the new 18.4
If u like Swiss watches like Chopard, goldmund is the way to go.
Exclusive, classy and refined and expensive.
I m very happy to be able to own full Goldmund electronics.
