i could say some of the same things about the 540p. it betters the nad by far. it does render some things so realistic that i have to think that this thing is an over-achiever too but it is not silky by any stretch.I think that the DL-110/60 goes with the 540p really well. Even though the 540p is very inexpensive it is not etched or shrill. I just keep wishing for more ... I just know there is something missing ... it's probably over there in the 640p. :-)
i was very happy with it starting out and i think that is exactly what this 540p is for - starting out. I would probably have been very happy with the 640p. Good choice for the money, no doubt.
