The Driver Was Modified.......

This is what the driver looks like in stock form.......

The center "vent hole" portion of the driver was removed and a "bullet" phase plug was installed. There is also the "Enabl" edge treatment on both the perimeter of the diaphragm and the edge of the whizzer. In listening to these very speakers, there was a clarity in the midrange and wide bandwidth that I thought was breathtaking. The lyrics from background vocals, for example, were easily discernible.
