I ve had the SR 80's for quite some time and I'm happy with their sound quality. Ear comfort is so/so. I never contacted Grado about replacement earpads, though. That might be a good thing to do.I also have AKG K 240 Headphones- They were less than $100 if I remember correctly- I got 'em about five years ago. I think they sound just as good as the Grados, perhaps better. Maybe I should try and do a little comparison testing though to confirm that.
