Jon, I do agree that the Khorus' presentation is unique, but I bought them for that exact reason. I was getting sick of the typical "Hi-Fi" presentation. I find most speakers to be tooo splashy and sparkly up top, and that inevitably leads to listening fatigue. My other major gripe is that most speakers are unable to capture the grand scale of live music, especially when it comes to the lower frequencies. As a result of where I live, I am able to enjoy live music on a very regular basis and I haven't found another speaker that can bring me closer to the live event (and it isn't even close to my ears). To my ears, the presentation from mid-treble on up is nothing short of spectacular. I have spoken to other Khorus owners who have said that it did take them some time to get used to their presentation, for me it was immediate and profound. All I can really say is go give them a listen. In my mind, they are a must hear.
