Thanks for the kind words Rob,PS's new amps are the best advert for integrated products that I've heard in a long time. In this case, the bypassing of a traditional preamp, interconnect and a power cable have worked wonders. You can't just say "wow! this sounds better!". It's in another arena altogether. Any consideration of the equipment is gone. It’s straight into the music.
In the last 3-weeks I went one step further in slimming down my system and I bought a full enchilada Dan Wright modified Sony NS999ES CD/SACD player. I’ve gone from five boxes to two in 3-months. More importantly, I’ve gone from four cables to one and from SEVEN Shakti Stones to none in the same period. The music is at a level I never believed was possible outside the concert hall.
I am happy!
