I considered trying the JRDG 201s some time ago but after hearing the Bel Canto M300 ICEpower amps, I decided not to take a chance. It appears that there are different implementations using ICEpower and even different modules. I haven't studied the variations.
In any case, the poor bass performance does appear to be an isolated case with the Bel Canto M300 / S300 amps as other ICEpower designs have received favorable reviews and comments from their owners. Or it may have been an isolated case in MY system. However, I have heard significantly better from other Class D designs including the Nuforce and even the much older PS Audio HCA-2.
And above all, I trust your comments mainly because your speakers are very similar to mine. So thank you for sharing.
