have been giving that option to troubled young men for decades. One of my dearest friends grew up in the Lincoln Heights section of Los Angeles.
That has been a tough neighborhood for years. He was constantly in trouble. The judge offered him prison or the Marine Corps. He chose the marines and was seriously wounded in Korea. Almost killed him but sure got his mind right. He was one of the kindest men I ever knew and friend that always had your back. I miss him.
