yes I remember that.There is old saying that Nixon mentioned one time and that if people aren't directly affected by a particular such as war,it isn't going to resonate with them.
Take the war,of course we feel bad people are dying as in any war but,unless you have son or daughter or nephew over there,most people could careless even tho they may say they do..The last election proved it when GWB won inspite of the war and all the bad publicity.

It doesn't matter how you stir
