read the first three pages (your link opened at page 4) I must agree that it is a splendid article. It may come as a surprise but I don't think what is happening is a particularly bad thing. I think our intent in promoting free trade and globalization has had, all along, at its core, the desire for other nations to rise from poverty and totalitarianism.
And I think the only way to achieve real and lasting peace is to welcome all nations into the game. To level the playing field so to speak. As nations come to realize that they can readily participate once they get out from under dictatorial governments - that they can become wealthier on their own merits - they will be far less concerned with pursuing "someone else's" wealth and power."Man is the only animal that blushes - or needs to" Mark Twain
