I have several Chinese-owned dry cleaners as regular customers and they all are very budget conscious( read: tight) yet they all prefer the quality of U.S.-made hangers. None of them have liked the quality of Chinese-made hangers, but none of them insist on Chinese-made only. When the Chinese hangers were much cheaper, they would tolerate the lower quality, but their customer complaints were tiresome for them. Because of the tough economy, which has greatly affected the Dry Cleaning industry, they all want the best price as well as quality. I am tired of dealing with the Dry Cleaners because they are very high maintenance, yet my lowest margin profit industry.
