I suppose you and I may differ, at least from time to time, on what constitutes a "Trailer Trash presentation," but I think we are in agreement on the general reason why folks get side tracked here.

I agree that many of the views expressed are not so extreme in their substance as they are inflammatory in their prsentation. With very little exception, I think the posters here on all sides of the political spectrum are intelligent and intellectually curious, but often not as open to opposing views or to earnest yet polite debate as they should be. In my case, I can be too thin skinned and easily offended, particulary when I see a blanket condemnations. But I'm trying to just keep my mouth shut more when that happens.

I would like to see more thoughtful responses and less jumping for the juggular from folks here, whether original posters or responders, but then, hey, this isn't my house.
