Glasgow Rangers qualify for the EUFA Cup Final by beating Fiorentina...

It's been quite a productive week for British Football!...
On Tuesday evening Mancester United beat Barcelona to qualify as one of the finalists for the "Champion's League" Cup Final, yesterday evening Chelsea became the other finalists by winning possibly the most memorable game of the competition thus far against Liverpool, the club with by far the best credentials in this competition...
Then tonight, playing Fiorentina at Florence, Glasgow Rangers won their EUFA Cup Semi-Final game (on penalties!), which means that they will meet Zenit St Petersburg in the EUFA Cup Final, a team who have confirmed their threat by comprehensively beating the traditionally redoubtable Bayern Munich team by 4 goals to nil...
Congratulations to one and all for their progress thus far, and especially to a "Rangers" side whose resources have been (and continue to be!) stretched to the limit by fixture congestion in large part caused by their success, in their attempt to be 4-time winners this season... :o)
