it is simply a case of "Yes, CJ may be an attention-seeking inadequate with an obviously very tenuous grasp of reality, but he's OUR attention-seeking inadequate, etc., etc..."...
Inmates should of course periodically remind ourselves that it is not a worthy personal characteristic to mock the obviously afflicted, though from time to time the provocation to do just that can certainly be very severe indeed...
