I cannot begin to share what Bob Crump meant to me and Luminous Audio. I was floored when my friend and right hand man Jeff Campus told me today. As most of you know, Bob and I worked on many cable designs together and were quite successful with most of them. I begged him to find a young apprentice to teach the ways of power cord manufacturing but I don't believe he ever did. "Oh....I'll get around to it one of these days Timmy" he would respond in that gruff/deep voice. It is difficult to swallow that I will never hear him on the other line again. You really take it for granted when you talk to someone that often that you won't be able to forever. I hope someone will be able to identify a family member or a means of sending a donation in his honor, etc. There is one audiophile friend in Richmond who already misses him deeply. Thanks for all of the laughs and great conversations Bob!
