Ok, my whole friggin' day has been in vain, and if I had a gun next to me I'd make ol' "davec" shiver in his soiled panties.Somehow I ended-up with two "Windows Installer" programs running, and whenever I try to install or uninstall anything the result is always the same: I can't do a damn thing and the computer goes into it's own little moebeuios loop (I don't give a damn how it's spelled). I needed to uninstall MS Office Basic (long story), but I could not. I tried repairing it- didn't work. I even tried re-installing it over the original (and that's probably where the second program came from.) I even tried reinstalling my OS- I FRIGGIN' CAN'T EVEN DO THAT!!! No matter what I try I get an error message stating something about a "patch" that does not work in Windows Installer. SCREW WINDOWS INSTALLER!
Got pissed, walked away for awhile, and then decided to format the "c" drive and start all over again. Guess what? I can't do that either.
I am so f***ing pissed right now.
How can I force this damn thing into DOS so I can reformat the damn drive? I can't reformat form Windows, and I can't remember how to get into DOS.
I hate these damn things.
