Look,
It has happened... The best frekin' classical recording I have ever enjoyed on VYNAL. It was the Boston Symphony preforming Saint-Saens Symphony No. 3 in C minor, op78. RcaVictor red lebel. Directed by Richard Mhor, Conducted by Charles Munch. My friend has the ceedee verson of this, which is frekin lovely, the organ is spectacular! But the vynal, and mind you I was listening on a system worth MABYE $2000, was so far better, I almost cannot discribe it. The strings were breathy and whispy, the cymbals tingled and danced, and the placement of the orchestra was flawless. Depth, diminsion, and organ tones that did not sound all "harmoincy"... But the one thing that made it truly special, was the dynamics. I had the volumne at approximately 12 o'clock, and it went from a whisper, to the full scope of sitting in row "u" at a live preformance...it danced, and almost was singing....
The sad part, I can never have this because I have neighbors...and cold never embrace the dynamics that sent me on an emotional rollercoaster... *sigh* Now I am in true turmoil... What do I do....
