RE: Assistive listening systems

Listen RF is a good option for assistive listening for church or theater. There's neckloops you can get with the system so people with hearing aids don't have to remove them. Williams Sound is a good alternative. The former is a 50 Ohm system and the latter is 75 Ohm.

The cable run from the FM transmitter (TX) to the antenna does not have to be long, as you can see in the picture ours was about 20 ft starting from the mixing board area and going up towards the ceiling pipes. We ran 2 sets of cables one to the main TX and the other to the backup TX. You can opt for firesafe cables.
