Rotate the image and suck the sugar off the yellow one.
In the US this was deemed waaay too bland and the grille was made more bulbous and the holes punched through the bonnet, wing added. A lot of crap was stuck on it. Predictably, there was haters in the US - A Pontiac GTO not made in the US, etc etc, but the styling was almost universally hated.
