Assistive listening systems

I've been asked to research, procure, and possibly even install an assistive listening system at our church. It's a fairly small venue, seating perhaps a couple of hundred people at most.

Even though an FM system would be by far cheaper and easier to install, I was thinking that a "loop" system would probably be most appropriate, because there are a couple of severely impaired members whose hearing aids have the capacity to link directly to a loop system. A typical FM headset would require that they remove their hearing aids, and the headsets alone would have inadequate amplification. This building is finished, however, so putting the wiring in the floor isn't an option. I was wondering if I could make some wooden moldings with the back side channeled out, and install the wiring at the ceiling line.

Anybody have any experience with this? It's new territory for me. Any good sources of information, recommended brands, or other info would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance...
