True, indeed. Even my house, about 80 air miles away is on the OUTER approach. We have a boundry marker or whatever up on the coast about 9 miles from HERE. Aircraft go OVER my house, heading basically West and are at about 12,000 feet / descending. You can hear them but it isn't awful and only happens a couple times per day, tops.
But, I'm talking FINAL. That is the straight shot aircraft take at ever decreasing altitude until they touch down.
No Where NEAR as noisy as the other end of the runway at takeoff (full power!) but still annoying since it goes on almost 24 / 7
The proposed stadium is a couple miles from the end of the runway and maybe displaced a couple hundred feet from straight on.
I can hardly wait for a SuperBowl to be played there.
