Well DV, you should have gotten to me 30 years ago. IL-6 is a bad guy in many inflammatory conditions according to research. This includes osteoarthritis and maybe pain. I suggest considering the use of a Vit K complex with K1 and MK2 and MK4. Evidence points to it being a IL-6 lowering agent. I will soon be switching from the rather expensive LEF product to the product below. Vit D3 also... You have to look into the blood viscosity thing with Vit.
