The "magic" that's in the broth is or maybe glycine. It's amazing that someone would bring this up now because I've just looked into this and have started on 10g of glycine a day. Glycine supposedly offsets the negative effects of too much methionine in a muscle meat based diet. It is considered to be anti inflammatory. Dr. Joel Brine thinks it is a or the big screw up in our diets that is responsible for much of the inflammatory disease out there. It seems to me that the amount of auto immune and inflammatory disease out there is off the scale. Joel Brind has a video about his take on the subject.
