Seems the overblown car explosion really takes off on old TV shows like "The A Team".
Every car crash is a bomb/explosion.
If the real world was like that, the roads would be filled with exploding car every day... But alas, no exploding cars for minor fender benders in real life (except Pintos.. But those are all burned up already)..
And then the cars hitting something and flipping over while flying ten feet up in the air, THEN exploding...
There is nothing more cliche' than this stuff.
