RE: Your best car dealer story

Working at a Mazda dealer in the service department, we had a gal with an 87' 626 turbo well out of warranty with a bad exhaust leak at the turbo.
The price of a new turbo was unacceptable to her so we offered to repair hers as well as possible as per her request.
I remember the job was made more attractive by the absence of air conditioning on this particular car.
I was able to extract and replace broken bolts causing the leak.
After receiving her car the gal complained to the owner that after the work performed on her car the air conditioner didn't work.
The owner of the dealership called me at my work station wanting to know how this had happened.
I was relieved to inform him the car in question was not equipped.
