YOU might be "forced" to support free education only in the event that a *majority* of voters and members of Congress favored and passed a "free education" plan of this sort. Yes, we do live in a democracy of sorts.

I feel right in assuming that you would remain in the minority if such a plan came to a vote. And if this is the case, it's no big deal. There are some winners and there are some (so-called) losers in every scheme or plan that gets passed.

We know that "socialist" programs have existed in this country for decades now. Some socialist programs are better than others, and if the socialist program is a *good* one almost nobody complains...
