OK,
I have to admit it is kind of funny, but it does work. About 40 years ago when my daughter was an infant she had a cold. My wife was trying to use one of those little bulb syringes with a nose nozzle on her. She would nearly get a booger out, then have to squeeze the bulb. The baby would then suck the booger back in. It was most frustrating. I went and got some vacuum hose from the auto supply, an old peanut butter jar for a booger receptacle, and some pipe which would fit the vacuum cleaner hose and attached the nozzle from the bulb thing onto my creation and made a booger extractor attachment for the vacuum cleaner. I did try it on myself to be sure it would not suck the baby's brains out before trying it on her. My creation did the job, but it had our friends rolling on the floor laughing. My daughter used the same device on my grandaughter when she was a baby successfully.
The device in the commercial combines the operation of the nasal irrigator from Anthony Products with my old creation. I have to believe it may be very good.
