I reseeded the bald spots on my lawn about a couple of weeks ago. According to the instructions that came with the grass seeds bag, most of the seeds will start to grow in 3 days and the Kentucky grass seeds variety will start to grow in a week. I checked the lawn this morning and so far the seeds have not been raised as the bald spots are still well bald and on top of that they're littered with birds poops. And then it dawned on me, perhaps the birds have been eating them.

It so happened that I saw a Magpie in my backyard early this morning while having a coffee. He was looking right at me and at the same time looking towards my tool shed as if to say to get the seeds bag out and spray the lawn again.

Now, I'm beginning to wonder that perhaps he's the whistle blower who twittered the rest of the birds about the bounty's location. What the world is coming to, because if you can't trust a Magpie then who can you trust.
