Back when I used to shoot a lot I could unshoulder, aim, and *hit* a nearby bullseye target with a rifle faster than most people could unholster, aim, and *miss* the same bullseye target with a big heavy magnum revolver. And I'm talking about "close-quarters" (10 feet away).Handguns are last-ditch weapons. They are compact, they boost the ego, but they also give a false sense of confidence. I'll take a good shoulder arm almost any day of the week - when I'm outdoors, at least.
