ONLY worth it if your monthly electric bill is equal to or greater than owning the panels. In my case my monthly bill is just about averaged the cost of owning the panels (roughly $150-$200).Pretty cool when they fired it up and see the meter spin backwards...can't run it full time yet until the city comes out and inspects it on Monday.
That 'backwards' spin is energy banked (stored) on the grid at SDG&E and credited for future billing.
I'm out of town next weekend (6-9May); I can stop by (9May) if you don't have anything planned.
