Is it true that SDGE is going to 'ding' you 500$ for a 'net metering' hookup?
What are the current bennies of going solar?
Any chance of you LOWERING your in-house consumption which would make going Off-Grid more feasible?
My usage is MUCH less than yours. Maybe 40% less. Depending on season.

If you use 20KWh per day, that's 600 per month.
I'd like to sit down and do the math with an eye toward going OFF GRID and telling SDGE to stuff it.
