Scalliwag? Nope. Humorist and penetrating satirist, yes.

Careful, considered, self critical, liberated.

Eg? When he was being abused by Wedderburn at his 'examination' at The Cockpit in London - before y'all broke with Britain - he did not give way to emotion or anger. Barely spoke.

But when he came to the signing of the Treaty of Paris, he wore the same clothes.
