I'm uncertain as to what you're asking. In order for me to answer your question I would need to know if you meant to type "major league *baseball* team" or "*professional* sports team"; in which case the answer is "no" to the former and "yes" to the latter.
And though the 49ers were the subject of my original post, I understand your desire to tout the Giants. If I were saddled with San Diego, Oakland, and the 49ers I'd be anxious to get off professional football, too!
Should the Giants and Cardinals meet for the NL pennant I'll take St. Louis. I always enjoy watching the Midwest or Southeast beat up on the West Coast; even if it's only baseball. :)
