I'll likely never see the film, but if I do the actual scene certainly won't hold up compared to the wonderful spoofs produced with it. Just adds further weight to Mel Brooks' line: "You can't bring folks like Hitler down by getting on a soapbox - they're better at it than we are. But if you can humiliate them, ridicule them, and have people laugh at them - you've won."
