Not gonna happen. Do you realize how many thousands of fields would need to be changed and the millions of $$ involved in that? I'm not saying it shouldn't but it won't happen. Not anytime soon anyway.
Yes there are a lot of things you can find wrong such as unpaid umpires that even pay their way there. 225 is too short for the fences too. Much less of the age problem happens where docs are easily available but surely someone will always (try to) cheat.
I started watching this year a couple of weeks ago during the regionals. Now we are down to the final few teams and it is easy to see the better, higher velocity pitching. Still worth watching as I see it. Japan is still the favorite I guess.
