There are at least two 3500s nearby / in the ACT.IIRC there's a bit in a James Bond? novel where this Italian lothario takes girls for high speed rides which reliably get's them all hot and bothered, and then has his wicked way with them in a convenient glade. And his car was a 3500 GT.
This has stuck with me for a good while, as you can tell ;-)
I was young back then, okay?! Genungo could / will? probably list all the nasty psychological 'criminule' labels he can find. Watch this space!
Anyways a few years later, I briefly had charge of an Alfa-Sud 1.5 Ti, and there's this amazing mostly banked round-about on Canberra Avenue where Wentworth Avenue joins it.
So, late one night I took a current 'yes-no-yes-yes-pant-pant-ohh-no-stop' confuser-lass there, to show her how much grip the AlfaSud had. I had already managed to get her to tell me I was going too fast around a corner a few days before.
Well they do have a whole lot more grip - than even I knew about - and to go really quick in a frontWD car going around and around again you do need to let final-over-steer happen, and then catch it and keep it on the island. We went around that round-about a few times and then did the exit where the banking reverses. Whoopeeeee!

But did it WORK, Timbo? I hear you all ask.
Well, it didn't last. I can't even remember her name.
